Hello OpenSF attendees!
When all the expenses were located and the numbers were crunched, we figured out that OpenSF was about $4,000 short. Which may seem like a lot, but is actually doing pretty well when compared with the $28,000 budget or the $24,000 in ticket sales.
OpenSF is looking for donations to cover the shortfall. This will allow us to finish reimbursing people and recover our base of funds so that the conference can return in future years. If you liked OpenSF and want it to come back, please check out the donation drive page and consider giving!
