This evening I began the transition to an OTP managed system, which
means better, more robust code running your servlets! This is a skip
from the legacy 0.2 version (which will soon be upgraded to 0.3, still
old school). Please fetch the RC from:
http://github.com/ranok/open-server-platform/downloads
This requires the latest Ubuntu version of Erlang and the XML::Simple
perl module.
Please test it and let me know what you think!
To install, download the tarball,
cd src
make
cd ..
./setup-osp.sh
cp servlet_examples/my_httpd.sdf .
./compile_servlet.pl my_httpd.sdf
erlc my_httpd.erl
./start-osp.sh
telnet localhost 9876
start my_httpd 9999 master@<insert computer name here>
quit
<now you can open your browser to localhost:9999>
Then, mess around!
