Hi all,

As discussed this week, there is an OpenSequencing meeting planned the upcoming Monday 14th October at 2pm in the Interactive Hub in the Conway Institute.

Agenda
  • Essentially, the meeting will serve to get an update on the details of Catherine's dataset.
  • I guess then we should be able to offer more precise advice on the tools to use, analysis design, pitfalls, etc.

Please mention here before the meeting any other topic/article you would like to address, so that we can plan enough time for each topic.

Kind regards
Kevin

Hi Kevin and co,

I have a colleague in her final year PhD also attempting RNA-seq analysis. Would it be ok for her to come and see the what's what with Catherine's data and it would be useful?

Hi Karen,

Of course she and everyong wishing to share and learn about RNA-seq and other NGS projects are welcome to the meetings. Feel free to share the invitation :)

Qiong should be able to subscribe herself to the mailing list when joining the group at  https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/opensequencing
I cannot remember the precise sequence of actions to join the group, but if she has trouble she should just ask us again, Catherine joined the mailing list recently and may be able to help. Otherwise, we'll sort it out at the meeting next Monday.

All right?

Regards,
Kevin
