Calculating industry lobbying

I notice that the lobbying table includes an [Ind] field, used to
determine if a report's total should be included for industry
calculations, according to the data dictionary.

For totals other than spending amounts -- calculating the number of
lobbyists for an industry, for example -- is it ok not to use this
field?

Alex,
You don't need the ind field to calculate other totals like number of
lobbyists.
