OpenSearch = Chrome Site search?

Hey everyone!

I want to start using Firefox for everything I do but Chrome's site search is really nice since you can stage & run bookmarklets all in the URL. Is there a way I can do the same thing with OpenSearch on Firefox? I want an OpenSearch search engine to run JavaScript code after I receive input from the search engine.

I can make a video demonstration if necessary. Thank you!
