Hi all,

I was just asked offline if a changelog between drafts exists.  The answer is no, I haven't been particularly diligent about compiling a separate change document, though I have tried to ping this list whenever a modification to any normative text has been made.  Fortunately, such changes have been few and far between, you can see the canonical diffs by viewing the edit history directly.

For example, all changes to Draft 4:

The aggregated delta between the initial checkin of Draft 4 and the most recent:

Thanks.  BTW, is there any important reason to keep the specification 1.1 to draft 4 redirect on the OpenSearch wiki, or could I simply redirect 1.1 to draft 5 instead of 4?  So far the difference is one updated reference for the language tags RFC, unless I missed another point.  I can't test this before 2011-08-22, mobile broadband in Germany... :-)

Resolved - we are now "officially" at draft 5.  MIME type="application/opensearchdescription+xml" is still not yet officially registered, I forgot what the problem is, or rather was back in 2008, presumably "missing RFC" or "nobody bothered to post it on the types review list".  If it's only the latter I'll try it later.
