I thought this problem I have was just with Bing but it appears that
the problem may exist in the map class itself hopefully someone can
tell me what I need to look at in order to fix.

Any time I zoom into 1.1550007361037509 resolution or below every
layer becomes disabled and does not draw. This is true of all layers
even custom layers were I know the data exist for a deeper zoom.

The last lowest resolution I am able to view is 1.2820508170751637.
And for my little project I really need to zoom in much closer as we
have data where one pixel equals 6 inches on the ground.

If anybody could please assist in pointing me in the right direction
of where I should be looking to allow a deeper zoom please let me
know.

Thank you all,
Rob

It seems I now have found the function that is rendering the layer
useless and it is the "checkAvailability()" that seems to be in
error.

I can create a new class extending Bing and override this protected
function to always return true. When I do this the layer then allows
me to zoom further and data is returned because there are higher
resolution aerials.

So the question now becomes is this a bug? If I do not override this
function the layer renders inoperable prematurely.

Thanks,
Rob
