We'll be joining other Brigades and Open Data advocates around  the world with an event of our own this weekend, including presentations and small group sessions about making  our City better. CodeAcross is  an annual Code for America event  scheduled to coincide with International Open Data Day  (on Saturday). There will be global participation for both.

Here at home,  our program will include Chief Data Officer Maksim Pecherskiy explaining how you can help prioritize the datasets  released in July on the City of San Diego's portal and an introduction to the Smart City Hackathon, an opportunity for you to propose innovative tech solutions that help the City meet the  Climate Action Plan goals.
