David Graham, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Neighborhood Services, is one of the leaders responsible for San Diego's growing reputation as a "Smart City".  He'll speak to us about the things he's working on that justify that reputation. That includes GE's intelligent software-defined lighting and sensor network, which San Diego was the first U.S. city to deploy, and the data it mines.

I'm  working with the Center for Wireless Communications at UCSD to produce a Spring Hackathon with cash prizes, focused on data and devices like those David will be speaking about. His talk will be useful for anyone who participates in that event.

Tuesday, Jan 19, 6p - 7.30p.  Co-Merge Workplace, 330 A St. at 4th, San Diego 92101.

RSVP here.
