I've just started a thread in the wiki forum about the Tether Comm Graphic that Eric has created (image also attached). I want to experiment with the process of working ideas/issues out with the dev team on the wiki forum before opening it up on the Ning forum.

What do you all think? About the Tether Comm graphic? About the process? Too cumbersome?

I like the graphic.  I think it would make a good addition to an FAQ page.  I'm sure the tether discussion will come up frequently.

Really nice graphic.
I'd highlight the option chosen.

Then, why do we need the forum on the wiki? It is much easier to just respond to emails, and google group also has a very nice web interface, archive and search (well, it's Google :)) capabilities.

I think we should have 2 different channels, one for the persons interested in helping designing the future versions of the ROV or helping with the community, and one for people that are just interested in building it out from kits and self sourcing.

The second is the one on Ning, the first one I think could be the ML.. unless we want to use the wiki forum.
