Hello,

i am currently trying to map certain locations, for example a warehouse and create an isochrome. It would be interesting for me to check how far a truck / HVG can drive within a certain amount of time. I played arround with qgis and the addon but i am not able to extend the  drive time or distance past the restrictions. I made a quick screenshot from the website to visualize the general idea.

I am wondering if it would be possible to increase the calculation of an isochrome for drive time to arround 8 hours for a truck/ HGV or if it is possible to increase the distance to 700- 800 Km.

Even if the result is not 100% accurate it would help me to undestand how far a truck is able to drive, in theory, to get a bette Picture of the logistic situation in europe.

A couple month ago i ask the ors team directly, the feedback was that it is not possible .... but i think something has changed lately..... Does it make sence to keep trying even i do not have any programing/ python skills?

maximum_range_distance: 120000 meters
maximum_range_time: 3600 seconds
maximum_intervals: 10
maximum_locations: 5

thank you for any kind of advice or remark

Hello Christian,

this is only possible if you set up your own openrouteservice instance on your own machine. In this way you will be able to configure the settings as you need them. The instructions are on github.com.

Greetings,

Tim
