Hi,

Get a drink, and scan through this if you are bored.

Ignore the bit about OAuth2.0 at the start – the ‘fun’ or should I say ‘lies’ start after I ask ChatGPT4.0 to write me a bit of OpenROAD code that demonstrates the use of AES256 column encryption.

I’ve already done this to consume an API protected by OAuth2.0 within OR so I was just being curious.

ChatGPT  just made up its own syntax for OpenROAD:

Or you can skip to the bottom where I tell it off after correcting it’s script.

Te he – we’re safe for a while yet.

Cheers

Adrian

It was good for a giggle over Saturday morning coffee.

Recently I sat in a demo of an AI product which generated and compiled an entire application: schema, user interface, test data etc.  This input was an English language description of the business requirements.

And this week the discussion topic was a recent demonstration of CoPilot converting OpenROAD to .Net Core.  It is being proposed as a viable project for a large ERP.

I need another coffee.
