Web push for OpenResty?

Hi,

https://github.com/web-push-libs/ offers no Lua(JIT) library yet (though there is a C version). 

There is lots of support for node.js, including good examples, but I still would prefer a solution using OpenResty.

Has anybody done work in this area they'd like to share with the list? Any pointers to implementations?
