reload docker

hello everyone, i've created custom openresty with desired lua packages. on bare server there is no problem but when i use this on docker runtime, after changing openresty configuration and reloading configuration, nothing happend . no error shown in error log .i mean nginx workers are acting with previous configuration settings.

so can you help me?

What exactly are you doing when you are "reloading configuration"? Are
you really running `nginx -s reload` inside the right docker
container?

for example when i set return 403 on server directive, and then reload its configuration nothing happens.

yes i'm in the container
