Can balancer_by_lua see how many connections on the backends?

I cant see it in the docs, but it feels like it should be possible to re-implement least connections (or use the information for more complex algorithms

I have just exactly the same question here... it seems that you could use get_primary_peers to get this information, but I'm not sure.
