Procedure to upgrade openResty version with zero downtime

Hello,

We are currently on 1.19.3.1

Can someone please help with your experiences when upgrading to new version.

Also if there is a documentation/steps/things-to-keep-in-mind-list during such upgrades are appreciated.

Are there any significant downtime involved in such upgrades?

You can use nginx's binary upgrade procedure to upgrade with (almost) no dropped connections: http://nginx.org/en/docs/control.html#upgrade

Or, of you can allow for a short downtime, just upgrade OpenResty package and restart it, it should be up almost immediately.
