There's no official precompiled binary of OpenResty for Windows (yet).
But it has been on my TODO list :)

I'm not sure if there is any public 3rd-party Windows builds on the
Internet though.

With regards to a windows binariy, i saw the following file

basically it just checks if nmake is available, and if not tries to download it from

It's location needs to be in %PATH%, but is that the only requirement? I am going to give it a shot and report back,...

This is the obsolete 1st generation of openresty written mostly in
Perl. It is no longer maintained. Please check out the current
generation of openresty based on Nginx:

https://github.com/agentzh/ngx_openresty/
