Skin dose maps: error?

Hi, Ed.

The skin dose map doesn't seem to be working properly. The patient dose appears in the lower part of the phantom.

What to do to fix?

Hi Nayron sorry for the delay.

The skin dose software needs to be adapted to each of the different systems, and currently only the Siemens Artis Zee is known to work, though please note that the current implementation is known to have errors in it (see this earlier google groups message) and we do not advise you use the feature until the new version is released.

For Canon or other non-Siemens systems, there is further work to do to establish the geometry of the systems and how that relates to the information in the RDSR, as well as the differences in filters, couch attenuation etc.
