Hi,

I am in this situation and looking for some kind of help:
I have a column with various numbers and would like to filter the content with a few of them.

For example, my column has values:
500020
500020
500020
500071
500071
500071
500321
500321
500356
500364

and I would like to filter

500020

500071

is there a way to do it? I tried "contains.value", but made it to work with only one value.

Thanks,
Matej

use the menu item Text Facet on column.

Did you view the introductory videos on our homepage ? http://openrefine.org/

Hi Thad,
thanks for your reply.
I did watch the videos, but dont think there is an answer.
I need to text facet a list of items (thousands), so it is not possible to pick them one by one with the "include" button.

SOLVED: in case anyone was interested - I solved the problem in SPSS: select cases, with IF + OR conditions.

Obviously too late for you, but for completeness, I think you could have achieved what you wanted in OpenRefine as follows.

Create a Custom text facet using an expression like:

isNonBlank(value.match(/(500020|500071)/))

This will give 'true' for lines that are in the list of numbers, and 'false' for the ones that are not. This approach gives you a facet, although you could  take a similar approach using a 'text filter' with a regular expression
