Updating cell character count

Hi everyone,

After I transformed cell text in a column, I am trying to update the digit count for each cell in that column, for which I created a column in parallel. Is  there any straightforward way to update the digit/character count? Thanks

Open Refine columns are not dynamic. Unlike an Excel formula, they won’t update when data changes elsewhere. They will only ever represent the data as it was at the moment In time that you created or edited the column. If you want to update a column, you need to perform a cell transform on that column at the point that you want to update the data.
