OpenRefine 2.7 was released. Thank everyone did the contribution to coding, bug fixing and testing. If you find out any issue, please create issue and mention it is from V2.7.

New features:

  • Wikidata Reconcile (replaced old Freebase Reconcile service) and hosted by Wikimedia Foundation.
  • Export Clusters button on Clustering dialog.
  • Japanese translation
  • Support multiple "logical and" and "logical or" instead of just 2
  • "Transform All" support to apply the operations to multiple columns
  • Some bug fixes

See the full list of changes.

Cheers

Qi

Amazing!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to getting this release out. I'm so excited to run my next OpenRefine class and be able to say 2.7 is the official release!

Thanks again,

Best wishes

Congratulations - what a wonderful milestone for the community, the
first stable release of the application since 2011 when Google Refine
became OpenRefine.

For macOS users of the Homebrew package manager, I've submitted all of
the PRs so that Homebrew users who previously installed the
"openrefine-dev" cask containing the 2.6- and 2.7-era release
candidates can now update to the final release:

brew cask uninstall openrefine-dev
brew cask install openrefine

Users installing OpenRefine for the first time with Homebrew should
delete any previous installations from /Applications, then use this
command:

brew cask install openrefine

I've also updated the installation instructions on the OpenRefine
wiki: https://github.com/OpenRefine/OpenRefine/wiki/Homebrew.

Cheers,
Joe
