Agree for frank.
Tom any other suggestion? OK with the list?
I can draft an invitation email with the following:
- thank you for your contribution to OpenRefine over the last months
- you demonstrate a good understanding of OpenRefine code base
- in order to strength our community and to reward your effort we'd like to give you committers access to the repo so you can merge your bug fix or minor improvements without Tom approving first
-- for new feature proposal and larger change you should still share them with the group first for feedback
-- we have a draft governance model currently under review to determine how we made decision as a group
-- hope to see you joining the project
I would also add:
Frank Wennerdahl who seems to have a deep understanding of the lower levels of OpenRefine, down to project level, and they use OpenRefine in batch operations using the API as well.ThadOn Wed, Apr 15, 2015 at 9:03 AM, Martin Magdinier <martin.m...@gmail.com> wrote:Tom,
In your previous email you mention the following action item:working through the backlog of strong contributors who deserve commit privileges
Who do you have in mind?I think the following individual will make strong contributors:- Ruben Verborgh- Matthew Blissett- Owen Stephens- Sergio Fernandez- Contributors from SpazioDati?I will be happy to forward them invitation to join the project. They might be able to provide feedback on the governance model.Let me know what you think--Martin Magdinier
