Hi all,

I've just renamed the mailing lists to openrefine and openrefine-dev, and their URLs have been changed accordingly

Memberships should not be affected. It does not seem like Google Groups redirects old URLs over to new ones. And the next time you email or reply to threads on this list, you might have to fix up the mailing list's address.

Please let me know if you encounter any issue due to this change.

Can you anticipate any issue with such a name change?

I don't anticipate any major issues.  People will want to adjust their mail filters and I suspect that replies to old messages will go to the old address and bounce without manual intervention, so folks will want to remember to edit message headers (or they can just forward the bounced message).

Since all the subscriptions will stay the same and the archives will be available under the new name (I assume), the disruption should be pretty minor.
