event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future.
I noticed the above in javascript console the other day while running some Refine processes. Is this something to worry about ?

A grep for layerX in refine's code only returns something within jQuery. I think we'll be OK.
