I'd like to propose to give Paul Makepeace commit access to the trunk so that he can put his python code in there and maintain it.

What do you think?

-1 on adding python code here. I think such a project is small and best done on github.

+1 for commit access. The patches I've reviewed/applied have all been good.

-0 for Python client being folded in. Is Paul proposing this? What's
the rationale?

What's the rationale?

Bring momentum together... but I don't feel strongly either way.

I'm leaning towards -1 for the python library being merged in.

I'm -0 on the client being moved in as it's still pretty immature and having its own release schedule is useful
