After what feels like a good many years, I have today stopped processing the NROD feeds and closed my server.  

I never intended to create a commercial application but had fun routing the real-time data into game engines etc. to see what could be done.  My final project was intended to get the data driving trains (pun intended) in the Trainz simulator, but too many other distractions got in the way of learning Trainz Script and C++. (If it supported C# plugins I would have been OK.)

Thanks to all those here who have helped along the way, and good luck to everyone... may your software have only just enough bugs to keep it interesting.
