All,

I'm aware a few people have asked about this in the past, but it appears Network Rail may be giving more widespread access to NESA, which contains Sectional Appendix data.

There is a data product on the RDM, although it contains only a Word document giving instructions of how to sign up for NESA, and saying you require a 'corporate email address'.

I'd appreciate feedback from anyone on this process.

It was worth a shot.

Thank you for requesting access to the National Electronic Sectional Appendix (NESA).

Unfortunately, your company does not appear on our Approved Supplier list. So, we can keep track of the organisations that are using the Appendix.

In addition, if you have a company website, please send us a link. Could you also provide a copy of your RISQS certificate?

Please note that Network Rail reserve the right to restrict access to the NESA website.

I have replied asking for clarification given that the RDM product says anyone with a "corporate" email address can be given access.

I have been told:

> The information quoted on the Rail Data Market Place is incorrect.
> It should state “Access granted to users with a corporate email address and who are on the NR Approved Supplier list or hold a valid RISQS certificate.”
