Hi,

Help required please!

The endpoint lite.realtime.nationalrail.co.uk has just gone down.  SOAP requests are no longer working.  Is this a temporary outage or have I missed a huge announcement :(

My app is currently broken in production as a result :(

This looks like a DNS problem - I can't resolve it via my ISP's nameservers, but I can if I use Google's 8.8.8.8:

pwh@piccadilly:~% host -t a lite.realtime.nationalrail.co.uk        

Host lite.realtime.nationalrail.co.uk not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

pwh@piccadilly:~% host -t a lite.realtime.nationalrail.co.uk 8.8.8.8

Using domain server:

Aliases:

lite.realtime.nationalrail.co.uk is an alias for albextdarwinliv1web-1114587732.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com.

Thanks Peter - I was coming to the same conclusion...  not resolving via ISP's DNS.  Seeing exactly the same from here - its working via 8.8.8.8
