Historical Fares Data

Hi all,

I am looking for historical fares data for academic research and after accessing the data in the Fares API it appears that it is more of a current data feed whereas I am interested in this data over a much longer stretch of time (ideally 3-4 decades but any length of time will be good). Does anyone know how I might be able to access such data whether through the Open Rail Data portal or anywhere else? 

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Jamal

Interesting question - you might want to contact RDG directly (or one of the people on here might pick this up) - releasing all the historical fares data as far back as possible would be an excellent Open Data release!
