All,

As I don't consume the CIF or JSON directly from the NROD site(s), can somebody who is consuming the data let me know what the current state of play is, please?  Ideally for both the JSON-formatted data and native CIF data.

I don't consume Jason anymore but everything seems stable now in terms of the cif distribution.

I noticed that this mornings CIF run retrieved last Friday's full & update CIF files which were not there before yesterday morning.

I've never used the JSON format.

I use the CIF native format.  For the past so many years I've downloaded the weekly update from the RDG website at https://data.atoc.org/data-download.  However, from the start of the new year the Timetable Feed stopped being updated?  I sent a ticket via the Contact Us page but never received a reply.  This happened before and for a few weeks I was able to download from a mirror,  provided by Peter I believe.  This time around I couldn't find same mirror but with the help from other more recent posts I was able to download from https://datafeeds.networkrail.co.uk/ntrod/CifFileAuthenticate?type=CIF_ALL_FULL_DAILY&day=toc-full.CIF.gz.  This Saturday however that download was just a tenth the normal size?  Was this an update and not the full CIF?  Back over on atoc.org I saw the TF was now up-to-date so I just used this instead and didn't investigate further.  I see all the posts about missing CIF file but taking a path of least resistance approach and as the above still just about works for me I thought not to muddy the waters further.  But since you ask!

I've moved my mirror to a location where egress doesn't cost the Earth, the original one was on Amazon S3 ;-)

The CIF archives are now accessible at https://archive.area51.dev/archive/ukrail/cif/

The last couple of weeks the full CIF dated for Friday 10 & 17 Feb were missing from the publicdatafeeds url so I populated them with the ones from the original datafeeds - but they did then appear early in the following week, the one for the 17th only appeared this morning for me - although they could have appeared at some point yesterday as I only run the retrieve once each morning.
