Parameters to control the real-time online departure URL?

I'm trying to find out what the parameters are to control the real-time online departure URL, for example:

http://realtime.nationalrail.co.uk/ldbcis/departures.aspx?u=[our user id]&crs=CRX

Trying any crs value other than CRX does nothing. It seems that the station is somehow encoded in our ID but we need to be able to display departure boards for different stations. I read that time offsets can be incorporated too, and that there are parameters for viewport width and height. I'm not even sure we're using the correct service. Can anyone advise what we're supposed to do or point us at some documentation please?

Many thanks in advance.

I'm not sure the LDB CIS service has been made generally available yet -
it's just the OpenLDBWS that I understand is open to all and sundry.

Did you actually have an email saying that your token will work on the
LDB CIS service, or did you discover it yourself?

Hi Peter

I'm grateful for your offer of help. To be honest, I don't understand enough about it to answer your question. All I can do is ask you to bear with me while I provide some background.

We originally requested access to the NRE live departures/arrivals API. We then received a National Rail Enquiries Darwin Lite Webservice token which we were told needed to be integrated in to our SOAP header.

I replied, saying we just needed to access http://realtime.nationalrail.co.uk/ldbcis/departures.aspx and was told that is a pubCIS URL, not a Darwin Lite webservice query. We then received a pubCIS URL for one station (KGX).

However, I believe this is now being discontinued? What we need quite simply is a URL that displays departures for a requested station in a similar format to the http://realtime.nationalrail.co.uk/ldbcis/departures.aspx URL.

Does such a thing exist and, if so, what do we need to do to get access to it and what are the parameters?

(I should explain that I'm now away for the next two days - sorry!)
Many thanks.

A very old post, but I've been looking into this recently and thought I would reply for the benefit of anyone doing the same. I think all you need to do is include the right station code which you can get from the following address, then if you have a valid token ID, your URL should just magically work.

Station Codes:

Then just add your token id to this url and the station code where it says CRX.

Thanks for this! I was looking for the same info.

As a side note, looking through other threads on here it seems you used to be able to request access to the PubCIS and details of how to do so were written at the end of the developer's guide (you had to email NRE). In the latest revision of this guide, they have been removed but the information about what the PubCIS is and how it can be used has been left in. Its last revision was Oct '19 but I think it may need some more updating.
