Hi all,
In another thread I mentioned I could export/share tiploc locations, so here goes! Attached is 11,188 average tiploc locations and details in json format .
A bit of context. Currently, I have a KML of the network and I've mapped every tiploc to each individual track as seen the the Network Model. So if a station has 5 platforms, then it'll be mapped 5 five times for each track. I've also mapped the bus stops and other locations that in usually in the ocean in other data sources. All together, this allows routing trains on a geospatial network. An example of this can be seen
here.
Each night I get an email if there are any new tiplocs that appear in the Network Model and as new ones appear, I then map them. This morning included DALW2 and PULB431.
In the export, I take an average lat/long of all the nodes each tiploc is mapped on.
Let me know if you have any questions. Hopefully the export is useful for you.
