All,

There will shortly be a product on the Rail Data Marketplace (https://raildata.org.uk/dashboard/dataProduct/P-02191838-7c2a-442d-adb5-1d38c954ae78/overview) containing a CSV file with STANOX (station number) and STANME (station mnemonic) as used in TOPS.  This may include locations which are not operational railway locations, such as 'TOPS HQ', and the mappings are not unique (e.g. 17 STANOXes with a STANME of 'DONCASTER').

This data is updated weekly and goes live in the TOPS/TRUST maintenance period at 0200 on a Sunday morning.  It is of limited use in general, but is principally handy for translating a STANOX in to a human-readable mnemonic.  For those of you who have hands-on experience with TOPS and TRUST (and I have too much of both!), these are the mnemonics which appear against schedules and timing points, e.g. 73000 PADDINGTN and 72410 EUSTON.

This is superb! I will be able to make use of this in my projects!

Thank you Peter
