Hi all

I use the .Net Stomp.Net package to receive with the NROD feeds. That code has been working fine for months.  But today I cannot connect successfully.  I've not changed password, and I'm still within the 500 users (having just logged in and checked feeds).

I'm now getting "Exception calling "Start" with "0" argument(s): "The connection is already closed!" when trying to Start() the Stomp link object.  That's code that's been running fine for ages.  I'm seeing this on two machines on my home network.

Is anyone else seeing a problem with Stomp today?

Thanks.

Hi Tim

I've just tried to run the TD/TRUST demo script I wrote, and the remote end is
closing the connection, complaining that the credentials are wrong. I've
double checked that the credentials are correct, seems it's an issue on
the other end.

I’m getting the same.

% python3 -m stomp -H datafeeds.networkrail.co.uk -P 61618 -U <username> -W <password> -V
Sending {cmd=STOMP,headers=[{'accept-version': '1.1', 'login': ‘<username>', 'passcode': ‘<password>'}],body=}
ERROR
content-type: text/plain
message: Username ‘<username>' or password is invalid

Time to raise a support ticket… if this is happening for everyone, then we’re stuffed if anyone’s connection drops.

Hi Peter,

Lost my TD Feed connection 21:11 UK time and subsequent attempts resulted in ECONNREFUSED.

Starting from 21:18 until 21:45 the other end responded "User name [nnn] or password is invalid."

Finally at 21:46 my client connected and subscribed ok.

Hi Liam

There might be a problem with authentication right now - but are you suggesting you've not been able to connect at all for the last couple of weeks?

I've not able to connect with the same error of connection already closed. I've just tried connecting via the portal (datafeeds.networkrail.co.uk) and my account was disabled.

I'm trying to connect with another account but it's just endless connection interruptions - which is probably what caused my main account to be disabled.
