Please excuse the message here - since the data product is NR-branded on the RDM, I don't have access to message any consumers!
Further to last night's investigation, I've noticed that RDM is failing to accept a very small number of exceedingly large XML messages. It seems it's not accepting anything larger than about a megabyte, which is a handful of messages per day.
This is likely to impact only allocations including units/sets with a lot of defects recorded against them. As far as I'm aware, these messages are appearing in the daily archives as these are generated once the message hits servers here, rather than being re-consumed from RDM.
I'll get in touch with RDM Support on Monday to see if this limit is configurable and can be increased, but if not, I'll work out whether it's possible to reduce the size of messages in anyway, whilst still keeping the data verbatim.
