Important: Clapham Junction Platform Numbers

Hi all,

It appears that there have been no platform numbers for trains in Clapham Junction in just over 3 weeks via Darwin. This is causing chaos, affecting all third party apps.

Clapham Junction is a particularly busy and confusing station and this isn't helping. Not to mention the impact on those that are not as mobile, or have vision impairements.

I raised with NRE on Twitter, and am told it is being looked into but there have been no further updates other than that.

Can anyone from RDG provide an update?

Hi Ben,

I've just replied on a different thread (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/openraildata-talk/cODcy4SVzlE) but it will be the same problem.

I have checked with our service manager and the issue affecting SWR and GWR is not with Darwin, but with connectivity to Darwin. I understand the relevant suppliers on both sides are working on understanding what is causing the connectivity issues. It appears to be affecting all LICCs (as noted above other consumers do not appear to be suffering from the same problems - that we know of at least) but for as yet unknown reasons it is affecting the SWR and GWR LICCs more than the others, which is why those TOCs have chosen to temporarily disconnect completely from Darwin until the issue is resolved.

 

I will endeavour to post updates on progress towards resolving the issue as and when I can.
