Hi - I've noticed a new company code 'DF' appear recently - does anyone know what this company is?

Thanks in advance!

It's Freightliner Heavy Haul - split off as a separate company.  See https://www.heavyhaulrail.co.uk/heavy-haul-rail-launch/.

I'm glad to see they've got an ATOC code even though they're not a passenger operator.

For clarification, Heavy Haul Rail still uses the standard [XX] ATOC code (and 09 sector code)
the new [DF] code has been given to Freightliner Intermodal, which is a new FOC, even though
it has kept the Freightliner name!

I'm assuming that any new FOC will get one going forward, but not the legacy operators.

I stand corrected then - the first I knew about this was a message from somebody else earlier today to let me know of a change, but not the details.

I will see what I can do to get these kind of changes announced more publicly rather than have somebody spot a change and other people have to fill in the gaps.
