Hello,

we use OpenQwaq quite a lot. Recently I updated my MacBook pro to OS X 10.9  and now I get an error message about insufficient Open GL support.
I had a look at OpenGL>>initializeIn: , the method that issues the error message. It seems, that  OpenGL>>primCreateRenderer: fails, but I couldn't figure out the reason.

What can I do, to get OpenQwaq running on OS X 10.9?
Is there anybody who can run OpenQwaq on 10.9?

All the best,

Dietmar

Hi Dietmar,

Thank you for reporting the issue.  It sounds like the plugin will need to be recompiled.  I’ll look into it more.

Hi Ron,

Thank you for your fast answer.
I think it's an internal plugin and the whole VM has to be rebuild?
I wounder why the plugin has to be recompiled. Will it run under older versions of OS X then?

All the best,

I haven't looked into Mavericks yet, but I have a brand new Macbook
sitting on the desktop here (with Mavericks) that I will build a new VM
on, including all the needed plugins.

As soon as we (3DICC) get it done we will commit it.

regards, Gran

PS. We are very busy working on Terf (the commercial offering from
3DICC) but even though the traffic on this list is low we track it
closely :)
