Good afternoon,

Is there a way to run event_based to get a rupture catalog from a greater amount of points and then running gmf and risk calculations from that catalog (less number of sites). Maybe with the event based hdf5 input? I've tried some things but not succesfully achieved.

Best regards,

Good morning, I think this is the path I should take. Though I have some questions.

1) As shown below, if the job.ini does not contain GMF calculations and related sites, how is the maximum distance controlled? Is it an offset of every source? And if points are indicated, does it change the way the maximum distance is taken?

2) If I run the job as below (without gmf and no sites), is it possible to run conventionally in the oq engine an event_based_risk or another event_based calculation calling this event catalog but computing gmf in specific points.

All this is because I want to make sure I'm calculating risk and damage for every municipality of Antioquia with the same event catalog,so I can compute risk-metrics exceedance curves in a post process and sum up AALs.

Thank you for your response, I've used this FAQ several times, which has been very helpful
