Hi!

I am running a Classical PSHA at a single site using the input model from the SARA project.
I was wondering if it is possible to get a list of the earthquake ruptures created by the Earthquake Rupture Forecast calculator.

Thanks!

It is possible in recent versions of the engine. The rupture parameters are stored in the datastore under the "rup" datagroup.
However there is no documentation for it and the storage format is subject to change, so you are on your own.

Dear Michele,

I have the same curiosity about this topic. I have tried to check the datastore file,  but I did not get any "rup" information in the datastore file. Is there any specific configuration in job.ini to produce the list of ruptures in classical PSHA? As the information, I use Open Quake version 3.11.5

Thank you for any response.

Best regards,
Aulia

Version 3.11 of the engine is 4+ years old and not supported anymore. Pleas use the latest version, engine 3.23. The `rup` information is in the datastore only for classical calculations with few sites (less than 10) otherwise it would consume too much disk space.
HTH,

Dear Michele,

Thank you for the information. I will update to the new version.

Dear Michele,

I have updated to the new version of OpenQuake (3.23.2-1) and recalculated the Classical PSHA. I downloaded the hDF5 file to get the rupture info. I found the 'rup_mutex', but when I clicked, the error mentioned "Data object has dimension of size 0" (figure attached). Is this the correct variable to identify the rupture information from Classical PSHA calculation? I also attached the job.ini file to this email.

Is there any specific configuration that must be done?

I appreciate for any feedback.

The ruptures are in the `rup` data group which is missing. Notice that in my original message I wrote "the `rup` information is in the datastore only for classical calculations with few sites (less than 10)", my guess is that you have more than 10 sites.
