Dear OQ Users
I've been testing hazard maps in OQ using different Vs30 values, and I noticed that PGA values for lower Vs30 are always higher, even for high return periods (e.g., 10,000 years), where PGA exceeds 0.1g.
According to the Stewart et al. (2020) and Hashash et al. (2020) models, we would expect non-linear site effects to cause reduction in amplification at high ground motion levels, especially for soft soils. However, this attenuation does not seem to appear in the results...
So, does OQ actually apply the non-linear amplification term (Fnl) as described in Hashash et al. (2020), or is only the linear term (F760 or Fv) being used when Vs30 is provided? Does it depends on the gmpe?
If the non-linear term is not included, is there a way to enable it, or should it be applied externally using post-processing?
Thanks in advance for any clarification!
Which ground-motion model are you using?

Not all of these models implement a non-linear site term.
