Hi, when defining the fragility curve using the lognormal function. Which parameters do i need to provide to OpenQuake? the mean and sigma of the associated normal distribution or the mean and sigma of the lognormal distribution?

Many thanks

Hi Barbara,

The parameters that go into the fragility input file are the mean and standard deviation of the intensity measure level (IML) for each damage state, and not the mean and standard deviation of log(IML). Thus, if you're using PGA/SA for instance, the units for the input parameters will be 'g'. We've added this clarifying note to the manual as well.

Regards,
Anirudh
