Hi,
I am currently conducting a Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis (PSHA) using OpenQuake Engine for my research and I would like to ask for clarification regarding the interpretation of the site parameters in the job.ini configuration file.

My questions are as follows:
If the site_model or site parameter in the job.ini file is assigned a reference Vs30 value of 800 m/s, is it appropriate to interpret the resulting PGA and spectral acceleration values as bedrock (rock outcrop) ground motions?
On the other hand, if the job.ini file uses Vs30 values obtained from a MASW-based microzonation study, is it appropriate to interpret the resulting ground motions as surface ground motions, since the local site conditions are explicitly considered?

Thankyou

Kind regards,
Martha
