Hi,

In the version of qm 4.0.6 I have detected that when a line with remarks includes some special characters (? Ñ ñ, maybe others) it does not compile the line.

Example:

001 GOTO FIN

002 FIN: **** FINAL? ****

003 STOP

when you compile this error comes out:

Compiling PRO-ALM PRUEBA

2: Syntax error

3: Label FIN referenced on line 1 but not defined

2 error(s)

Compiled 1 program(s) with errors in:

   PRUEBA

The line 002 has been ignored

In QM 4.0.5 it works fine.

I have not been able to test it in 4.0.7 because it is not available for download yet.

Thank you for your help

I reported this issue to Rocket some months ago, and it was fixed promptly in a pre-release build of 4.0-7. I don't think it has anything to do with special characters - probably just a parsing error that affected some programs. We had about six programs out of a couple of thousand that didn't compile.

The final release of 4.0-7 was available a few weeks ago, but it now the download site does not show anything. I suspect this is Rocket's way of doing things - you will need an RBC account to download software. If you don't have an RBC account, then contact your VAR to get a copy of 4.0-7 for you.

Cheers,

Brian

I was able to download 4.0-7 from http://portal.openqm.com/?T0=downloads&X=zlc90vskm1  without any problems yesterday.
