My company is wanting to get involved somehow. I have 12 techs (some
software oriented, some hardware oriented, some both), 4 fabricators,
and 4 people with experience in all three areas (electronic -
software, electronic - hardware, and fabrication/rapid prototyping)
and we have two techs who are also NREMT-P and one of my managers is a
RN (I, myself, am NREMT-B). Is there anything we can do? This is the
beginning of our slow season, and rather than have to lay off 30% (or
more) of our people, I remembered this project from an article written
in slashdot or some other online news source. So, is there anything we
can do to help?

Thanks,

Daniel & Co.:
Please visit the Wiki page (http://openprosthetics.wikispot.org/)
for a list of all of the current projects that are being actively
pursued to get assistance in solving problems. One that intrigues me
is the updating of the APRL hook, which is an incredibly sophisticated
design that needs sturdier parts than the cast aluminum case, etc.
that are used in the fabrication from the manufacturer.
However you and your people can get involved, your assistance
would be greatly appreciated!!
