1： Upward pressure is applied to the bottom of the tape, eliminating most of the vibration and making it almost impossible for the component to jump out of the tape. At the same time,It  suppresses  most movement that shouldn't occur.

Sure, they are universal.    V3 is just one more bottom spring than V2

Maybe you could provide some nice kit in your shop ?  I would prefer to buy upgrades instead of collecting them myself. 

Especially that getting reasonable sprigs is usually tricky as you need samples before you get right force.

And question - the HIWIN upgrade - how much benefit it gives ? 

I noticed that the one I got were a bit "loose" - mainly Z as the assembly changed the carriage to different one ( assembled on the head) - and as I recall no-name rails do not have it interchamgable.

Its advantages are quiet, smooth and more durable,No significant value for accuracy.

It has 2 sizes of  balls, one loose fit and one tight fit, depending on customer's requirements.    Currently we all use tight-fitting  balls.  This has nothing to do with the brand of the rail.

Fantastic update. Personally I think this is how all feeders should work, using upward pressure. 

As a nice side-effect the feeder will have the same Z regardless of the tape thickness used.
