Hello OpenPNP Users,

we are currently trying to get our Liteplacer running with OpenPNP2.0 the Liteplacer is in pretty original state,
using the TinyG with swapped Z +/- endstops and the improved bottom camera according Malte-Randt based on the Logitech C270.

We are failing pretty hard here,
and it get's quite frustrating!

Maybe somebody could help us with our issues.

The bottom Z Endstop is a contact probing nozzle setup on the liteplacer,
we have no idea how to set that up properly, the wiki is relying on a smoothie based machine we currently have the tinyG here.

Sometimes the nozzle calibration fails, maybe somebody could share his settings here to get reliable results,
as written above we use the setup with the Logitech C270 and red lighting which gave good results using the liteplacer software.

After every hit of an endstop or a manual reset of the tinyg we have to restart the software because of a timeout,
even a turn on/off via software does not solve the issue.

If anybody here uses a similar setup with openPNP 2.0 and would share his settings (machine.xml) this would already help us quite much.

For the TinyG setup we followed the wiki closely but don't have 100% reliable state also a good working actual dump ($$) from the TinyG could help us here.

We are located in Upper-Austria and would appreciate any support!
If there is anybody near us we would be very pleased to get in touch!!

I Have a modified liteplacer (bought used), a bit documented on my blog (in german):
https://www.formann.de (use http://www.ipv6proxy.net/g if you have no IPv6 connection)

Current machine.xml attached.
Hope that helps.

Hallo Doppelgrau

Your Website seems to be not reachable also via your ipv6 proxy link...

"Can't reproduce".
Work for me directly or via the IPv6 proxy provided by glype. But if that ipv6 proxy does not work for you, maybe you find an other that you can access.

It seems that its your website that has a problem, dig works and return IPV4:

Hi

Recently I had the timeout issue solved by changing  the settings in gcodeDriver > general settings.

The timeout would trigger before the visual homing sequence would commence. By changing the timeout value it now works. Why it’s set so low by default, I don’t know ?

Only for formann.de, not for www.formann.de (different domain names) - but to be honest: the IPv4 entry for formann.de was a legacy error. Is fixed.

This helps to not have to restart openpnp after every TinyG reset:

On the GcodeDriver General Setting tab, enable Backslash Escaped Characters and then add "\U0018" (without the quotes) as the first line of your DISABLE_COMMAND.  This sends a ctrl-X to the TinyG which resets it without breaking the serial connection.  Whenever you shutdown via the software button you will notice few seconds of delay as the TinyG resets but at least you can restore communications with TinyG by re-enabling with the software button.

Yes, but might have some HeapFeeders from this branch in the config:

Just open the file with an editor and remove feeders, should help.
