I've been working on a slightly larger version of a test PCB. I was just about to send the gerber files out for fabrication when I saw the other thread about the "official" OpenPnP test board so I stole/borrowed a couple of ideas/features (namely the rulers and including information about the pin pitch in the silkscreen) from that board and incorporated them into my "design". The following is the result:

I'll order 10 boards so I will have a couple of extras. Drop a comment here in case you might be interested (no strings) so I can determine if I should order more than 10. They'll cost me around $15/pcs (@ qty 10) and I'm not in it to get rich so I'll resell them at cost. Add shipping.

/Henrik.

Looks awesome henrik! One small addition would be a calibration square for the camera. Something like a 10mm square in copper will be helpful when setting up the camera in OpenPNP. Another thought would be making sure your rulers have an origin they can share so you can say go to the origin and from there move 100mm in X and see how close to the mark you are. Then go back and do the same for Y.

Thanks Anthony,
The rulers do actually origin from the same spot and the first line in X is the same distance from that spot as the first line in Y is (can't give a definitive figure at the moment) but it's purely "manual copper" so the origin does not show up in the BOM/place file which of course would make sense if it did. I'll try to fix that before sending it out to fab.

And I'll also try getting a 10x10mm square in there somewhere.

Thanks again for your feedback, I appreciate it!

/Henrik.

Relax :-) I will incorporate the changes mentioned and send out to fab. Then I'll post the files here.
I'll be away from home for two weeks so my aim is to get this ordered before I leave tomorrow.

10mm camera calibration square and tweaks to the rulers, also some minor silkscreen additions done. PCBs ordered. Files attached.
Use as you see fit, at your own risk and all that.
