I'm new to OpenPnp trying to integrate a self-made usb-keypad using existing shortcuts.
When testing the shortcuts ( User Manual · openpnp/openpnp Wiki (github.com) ) some of which didn't work or used different keys:
- z-axis up/down (nozzle) not working
- distance slider (up) not working
- c-axis different keys (left = ctrl + ,  right = ctrl + .)

Using a mouse on the jog controls works just fine.

Are you able to setup a working test that rules out your self-made keypad? I.e. a test that demonstrates the keypresses you think you should be receiving, are indeed those that are received?

The keypad is not attached yet.
I used a keyboard that could be the problem because it has the German layout?
I will try using the shortcuts on the display keyboard with English layout.

Good idea, rule out everything but OpenPnP first, then you'll be confident you're chasing the right problem.

Changing the keyboard-layout worked.
Thank you for the fast replies.

I don't have an answer for this, but I had been considering doing
something very similar. I would appreciate it if you'd keep the group
updated on your progress.

Thanks,
