I'm working on a new OpenPnP build.  In the previous build about 5 years ago, we used the Betztechnik quick release Juki nozzle holders with good results.  Unfortunately it looks like he's no longer making them, as the web site looks like it hasn't had an inventory update for years.

I'm curious if anyone has a couple of these sitting on a shelf that they'd like to sell.  Or if there's a newer solution that's high quality/low runout like the Betz holders were.  I've seen the cheap holders available on AliExpress with an O-ring or rubber tube holding some ball bearings and they look uninspiring, to say the least.

I have 8-10 Juki nozzles so I'd like to re-use them, but if there's a better solution like moving to CP40 or another type I'm also open to that approach.

thanks,
Steve

Hi,

On my PnP machine, I installed the following component:
https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005008478553848.html

The original spring was very stiff, so I replaced it with this one (diameter 15 mm, height 20 mm):

I recommend purchasing a couple of springs with different heights to best match your setup.

Regards,
Pierluigi

Hi Steve!
I once tried to swap the Betz nozzle holders in and found them to be to
large and heavy for my head, although they are very well made. I've a
cam style head and did not manged to get the required pulling force for
automatic nozzle tip changing. From todays perspective, I'd opt for a
small and light weight solution with rather cheap and preferably black
nozzle tips. The Samsung design seems to fulfill that better then the
Juki design.

Hi,
This is my solution for Juki nozzle: https://youtu.be/JsLVsnqwEjA .
The adapter is light, simple to  machined, airtight (there is a o ring on the Juki groove, with pump OFF and air valve closed, part remain suck for 5 minutes ) . It works very well.

Beautiful Machine... Are you able to share more close up picture/video of the nozzles?

I'm also working on a new machine and i have given up searching for usable, lightweight, precise, and inexpensive CP45Neo holders and sticking with the Juki nozzle tips.

For safety reasons, i'm a fan of vertical nozzle tip garages and use very simple $8.70 holders with a modified rubber hose.

I've already got my garage up and running (albeit slowly, but reliably)
